Justin Caouette, 27, of Grande Prairie has been charged following a traffic stop conducted by Grande Prairie’s GIS Drug Unit in the Cobblestone Plaza on March 9, 2017 at 8:30 p.m.
After a search of his vehicle, a number of items were seized, including: cocaine, 23 fentanyl pills, brass knuckles and over $10,000 cash.
Caouette’s charges include:
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Controlled Drugs and Substance Act)
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (CDSA)
– Possession of Canadian Currency over $5000 obtained by crime (CC)
– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon (CC)
He is due in Grande Prairie court on April 3, 2017.
