Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Grande Prairie and Area are revving up for its Second Annual “Curl for Kids Sake” event.
Executive Director, Amy Mohr says groups of four can join and pledges are two hundred dollars per team.
She says there is no age limit, as long as the kids can stand on the ice, they can try curling out.
Mohr adds, Big Brother and Big Sisters are still seeking more volunteers to help with the fundraiser.
“We definitely still have some spots for teams, we have sponsors available, the event this year is once again brought to you by Canadian Tire, we are very thankful for them. We do have room for volunteers, if anyone want to come and help out, they are very welcome.”
Last year, 15 teams participated and the organization is looking to double that number this year.
“Curl For Kids Sake” takes play at the Grande Prairie Curling Centre on Sunday April 9th.
