Halliburton shots fired trial pushed to 2018
A trial for a man charged after a shooting incident at the Halliburton building in Clairmont will now take place in March of 2018.
There had been a trail scheduled to start March 19 of this year for Panagiotis Michalakakos.
A reason for the delay is not known.
He is facing a long list of charges after reports on March 31, 2015 that someone with a rifle was firing shots at the Halliburton facility in Clairmont.
A man surrendered to police a few hours later. No one was injured.
Sentence given after High Prairie stabbing
A woman charged after a man was stabbed in High Prairie in March of 2016 has pleaded guilty.
Sally Duquette has been given a 166-day jail sentence for aggravated assault and two years probation. She had been facing an attempted murder charge after a 43-year-old man was stabbed at a High Prairie home March 16, 2016.
An attempted murder charge was dropped against co-accused Craig Downey. He paid a fine for a failure to comply charge.
Preliminary hearing date set in aggravated assault case involving an infant
A preliminary hearing date has been set for a Nampa man facing an aggravated assault charge after a baby was injured.
The hearing for Ferenc Tamas Zilahy is set for September 7.
He was charged in January after a late November incident where a ten-week old infant was taken to an Edmonton hospital with several injuries.
Details on the child’s injuries and how they occurred have not been released.
