With over 150 exhibitors and 230 booths, this year’s Grande Prairie Home and Garden Show is sold out, and is expected to be their largest ever.
They’re anticipating over 10,000 people to walk through the doors over the three-day event, which runs today through Sunday.
Hours are from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. today, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. It goes at the ENTREC Centre at Evergreen Park.
On top of the great exhibits, there will be plenty of stuff for kids.
“There’s a whole zone where the kids can come and the little ones can play,” said Kevin Vobeyda, who’s real estate company is a title sponsor of the event. “There’s face painting, there’s bouncy castles, cookie decorating, colouring contests. As parents, you can walk around the show and your kids have an area for them to go as well.”
County of Grande Prairie fire personnel will also be doing a “roof sit” to raise money to help send kids to Camp Tamarack.
“If you’re looking at renovating your home or if you’re looking at buying a new home, or maybe you’re looking at working on your garden or doing some landscaping. You can find everything at this year’s show,” said Vobeyda.
