Our jobless rate has gone up.
According to Statistics Canada, March numbers for the region that stretches from Jasper to Peace River is 7.8 per cent.
That is up slightly from February when we were at 7.7 per cent.
Nationally, the unemployment rate also went up to 6.7 per cent from 6.6 per cent in February.
Alberta saw the biggest boost in employment by adding 20,700 full-time jobs last month putting the unemployment rate at 8.4 per cent.
