Environment Canada has ended the snowfall warning for the region that was put in place Thursday.
As of 8 p.m. Friday, 20 cm of snow had fallen in the city of Grande Prairie and 11 cm in Peace River.
But, that’s minor compared to other parts of the region; a listener east of Woking told us he recorded 53 cm of snow from Thursday to Friday evening.
We also heard from listeners in the areas of Saskatoon Mountain, Teepee Creek and near Webster who said they received well above the 20 cm reported in Grande Prairie.
Snow is in the forecast for the Grande Prairie area today, about 2 cm this morning, changing to flurries and a high plus 2.
