The Western Hockey League final starts tonight in Regina. The Pats will host the Seattle Thunderbirds.
Both teams have Peace Region players on their rosters.

Seattle’s blue line includes Grande Prairie product Reece Harsch (pictured right). He has played in 14 playoff games.
Some Grande Prairie guys were also picked in the WHL’s Bantam Draft yesterday.
Goalie Garin Bjorklund went in the first round to Medicine Hat.
In the third round, defenceman Kaden Reinders went to Victoria while Sheldon Kwiatkowski was picked by Calgary. Both played with the Bantam Triple “A” Storm last year.
Defenceman Jace Isley was picked by Red Deer in Round 5.
