Construction on the 68th Avenue twinning project starts up again tomorrow.
Work begins from the new bridge up to the intersection of 100 Street and 68 Avenue.
This includes dirt removal, grading, concrete curbing, storm tie-ins and asphalt paving.
Traffic traveling north and south along 100 Street will be shut down at alternating times.
Repairs are expected to be completed by late summer of this year.
Also a part of the project is a berm to be built on the north side of 68 Avenue between Poplar Drive and Resources Road.
Dirt will be excavated from east of the bridge, as well as the removal of six remaining trees.
The berm is being constructed to help reduce noise from 68th Avenue for residents in the area.
The pathways along the north side of 68th Avenue will be closed from 7a.m. to 7p.m. from May 9th to May 12th.
