The future Beaverlodge healthcare facility was discussed during question period Tuesday in the legislature.
Grande Prairie-Wapiti MLA Wayne Drysdale asked the Infrastructure Minister Brian Mason what was happening with the $2.4 million allocated to create a design plan.
“We are nearing the completion of this initiative,” said Mason. “And provide consistent information for the planning and development of future rural health facilities.”
In February, the health minister was in Beaverlodge to say plans for the new facility were moving ahead but no money was allocated towards the facility in the March budget.
