A Cadotte Lake man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the May 9 fatal house fire in the community which killed 31-year-old Marvin Nahachick Jr.
Ramsey Carifelle, who is 19, appeared in Peace River court.
He has several charges including aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.
Carifelle will remain in custody, his next court date is Monday, May 29.
A warrant for the arrest of a second man has been issued.
Twenty-four-year-old Dylan Moberley-Horseman (pictured) is wanted on charges of manslaughter, aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.
He is described as:
- Aboriginal male, 24 years of age
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Height – 6’4
- Weight 249 lbs
Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Moberley-Horseman to contact the Peace Regional RCMP at 780-624-6611 or Crimestoppers at 1800-222-TIPS.
A $2,000 cash award could qualify, if the information leads to an arrest.
