A 21-year-old man has died and a second 21-year-old man taken to hospital following a collision between a pickup truck and a train shortly after midnight Wednesday morning.
Fort St. John RCMP were called to the scene at 12:16 a.m. at a controlled rail crossing in Taylor, B.C.
Upon arrival, officers found the truck on fire in a ditch.
An investigation is underway and authorities believe alcohol did play a factor in the collision. The driver was taken into police custody but has been released.
