Mall shooting case back in court
The case involving the accused shooter in the Prairie Mall shooting case was back in court today (Monday).
Liban Musse appeared by closed circuit TV from the Edmonton Remand Centre.
Musse told the court has not yet retained a lawyer.
The case is due back in court June 12.
A trial that was to take place this week was adjourned in an earlier appearance.
Warrant issued for McQuinn
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of one of the suspects in a Grande Prairie murder case.
Courtney McQuinn was charged with accessory to murder after the 2015 death of Adrian Snider.
Grande Prairie court heard today that her counsel wished to be removed after she failed to show up for two appointments. McQuinn also did not appear in court today and missed a previous appearance in May.
Trials will be held in 2018 for three men charged in the case. Dominic Decque and Tommy Paul are each facing a murder charge. Patrick Decque has been charged with manslaughter and accessory to murder.
