A fire advisory remains in place in the Grande Prairie Forest Area.
The wildfire hazard is rated high with the warm weather and possibility of lightning.
Existing permits are still valid, but anyone with a permit is asked to use caution. New permits may be issued, but that is up to the fire guardian. People are also asked to check the wind speeds listed on permits.
Two new wildfires started Thursday.
One is out. Another is being held at 4.6. hectares. It is located nine kilometres southeast of Little Smoky.
There have been 19 wildfires in the Grande Prairie Forest Area so far this season. A little under eight hectares have burned.
Active wildfires in Alberta also include a blaze that has scorched 97 hectares in an area west of Manning. It is listed as being held.
The hazard in the Peace River Forest Area is rated very high. It also has a fire advisory in place.
