To wrap up Paramedic Services week, four local EMS staff will be recognized this weekend in Grande Prairie.
Amber Bagan with Alberta Health Services says the Advanced Care Paramedics have 12 years of service under their belts.
“It is called the Alberta Emergency Services medal and just recognizing their years of service. The practitioners are Brian Truchan, Charlie Letkeman, Laura Miller, Alexis Wanotch and they’ve been long-term residents in the Grande Prairie area.”
The ceremony goes Saturday from 11 a.m. with activities for the kids until 4 p.m. just north of the QE2 hospital.
