There were two structure fires Wednesday in Grande Prairie, one sent a man to hospital.
Just after 4 p.m. fire crews were called to Happy Trails RV Park to find a trailer fully engulfed in flames. Staff had moved the unit to an empty field to stop the flames from spreading to other trailers. A man was rushed to the QEII with burns caused when a propane tank exploded, his condition is not known at this time. The fire is still being investigated.
Soon after that, fire crews were dispatched to 97 Street and 61 Avenue to reports of a house fire. It was determined the blaze was sparked by a BBQ on the second storey deck and when firefighters got there, the fire had already been put out. No one was hurt in the second fire.
