Some encouraging numbers have been released from Statistics Canada.
The unemployment rate in the Grande Prairie region is down again to sit at 6.8 per cent. In April it was 7.3 and May 2016 it was 7.8.
Canada’s unemployment rate in May was 6.6 per cent and Alberta’s 7.8.
The government agency says the economy added over 54,000 jobs last month, as full-time employment surged.
