There must be something about the Evergreen Park track that agrees with Eric Rever.
The Manning driver won his second straight Western Chuckwagons Association title at Guitars and Wagons Sunday just two weeks after winning the WCA Dash for Cash at Stompede.
The Western Chucks will next race June 29 through July 2 at Rio Grande.
John Stott won the All-Pro wagons. That circuit will be at the Cranberry Lake rodeo this coming weekend.
*** A correction to information we had posted earlier about Doug Irvine winning the final ahead of Kurt Bensmiller and Luke Tournier at the WPCA in Medicine Hat Sunday..
Luke Tournier was actually the winner. According to the World Pro Chuckwagon Association, “The third stop on the WPCA Pro Tour is in the books as the finals of the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede wrapped up on Sunday afternoon on a fantastic racetrack and a classic championship final heat that featured Luke Tournier, Kurt Bensmiller and Doug Irvine. When the dust settled on what was an extremely exciting final, it was Luke Tournier, driving the Perlich Brothers Auction outfit, and along with outriders Quaid Tournier and Chance Flad who captured the 2017 Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Championship.”
