Grande Prairie native Jamie Krzysik couldn’t capture a second prestigious Ross Roy Memorial trophy this past weekend.
The #46 team finished second in both their heats, putting them in the eighth starting spot for the feature race.
From early in the race the modified driver knew it was not their race, but he battled his way up to a fourth-place finish.
Krzysik’s next race is at Hythe Motor Speedway on July 8 and 9.
He will also be racing in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in the Edmonton on July 29th, and with the race only a month away, he is looking to finalize sponsorships and preparing the car.
If he and his team manage to raise the funds, Krzysik will also be racing with the Pinty’s Series in Saskatoon on July 26.
