A composite sketch has been released by local RCMP in regards to deliberately set fires last month in the Highland Park neighbourhood.
The first call came in at around 3 a.m. May 28th about a vehicle and structure fire in the 99 St. and 90 Ave. area. There were people in the home at the time, however they were all able to get out safely.
Shortly after that blaze was put out, police and fire department officials noticed a second fire one block away in the area of 91 Ave. and 99 St. This time it was a home that was under renovations that was on fire. Nobody was in the house at the time, however a neighbouring house to the north also caught fire, and had to be evacuated.
There were no injuries as a result of either blaze.
RCMP say the sketch is of a person if interest.
