Being late for his trail has landed Richard Vaillancourt in jail.
He was to stand trial in Grande Prairie Tuesday on a charge of robbery connected to the 2016 shooting at the Prairie Mall.
Vaillancourt did eventually show up to court, but a warrant had been issued after he was more than an hour late. He was arrested when he did show up a short time after that.
An assault case against another accused, and a failure to comply charge against another, were dismissed previously.
A fourth man, Tevin Watson, was given 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to failure to comply and breaching conditions of a recognizance charges.
The accused shooter, Liban Musse, is due in court today.
