Five residents of Grande Prairie face charges following the execution of a search warrant at a home on June 29, 2017 by the Grande Prairie RCMP General Investigation Drug Unit.
Four firearms were seized, three of them loaded, along with ammunition, several illegal drugs and additional stolen property such as credit cards, identification cards and bicycles.
Bradley Forseth, Austin Bates, Jarret Beaulieu and Debbie Jones, all between the ages of 22 and 30, along with a 16-year-old female youth face charges. They include possession of a controlled substance, possession of a loaded prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
“We’re grateful to the public for advising the police of suspicious activities and helping us in working towards having safer communities,” said Corporal Eldon Chillog, with Grande Prairie RCMP’s General Investigation Section.
The female youth cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and will appear in court July 17. The remaining four will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court July 24.
