A 34-year-old man is facing charges after an investigation was conducted by Grande Prairie RCMP and the General Investigation Section and Drug Unit on July 13th.
RCMP were led to the parking lot of a pharmacy, where they arrested Jeante Maddox and an unidentified female following the seizure of 13 grams of methamphetamine, 35 grams of cocaine, $2,400 cash and a loaded, stolen firearm.
The female cannot be identified at this time because her charges have not been officially sworn in. The firearm had allegedly been taken in an unrelated break and enter investigation.
Maddox has a court appearance scheduled in Grande Prairie for July 31, 2017. He faces a total of 15 charges, three under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and 12 under the Criminal Code of Canada.
