It was a big Sunday for the people in the Evergreen Park Racing Cub.
One of the horses the club owns, Red N Black Attack, finished in a dead-heat for first in one of Sunday’s races at Evergreen Park. This is the first win for a Racing Club horse in Grande Prairie this year.
Sunday was also Derby Day.
Misty Do It, trained by Tim Rycroft, won the Grande Prairie Derby.
Real Quality (pictured) scored an 18-and-a-half length victory in the Alberta Derby at Evergreen Park.
Trainer Dale Saunders both won that race and set a track record for the second year in a row.
