With 46 millimetres of rain since Tuesday, Grande Prairie broke two rainfall records in two days.
Yesterday 19 mm fell. The previous record was eight mm, set on September 20, 1947.
Tuesday was also one for the record books with 26.6 mm, compared to the previous record of 20.3 set in 1971.
The average rainfall for all of September is 41 mm, which we surpassed by five mm with just the rain we received since Tuesday.
