The latest crop report from Alberta Agriculture and Forestry says 40 per cent of the harvest is complete across the Peace.
That is below the five-year average of 70 per cent.
The report, dated September 26, also says there were 15 to 50 millimetres of rain during the reporting period.
The government department adds harvest is virtually finished in southern Alberta, 76 per cent done in the central part of the province, 32 per cent in the north east and 14 per cent in the Barrhead-Edmonton-Leduc area.
