At least one of the kids hurt when a wind gust blew over a jumping pad yesterday at the Grande Prairie Corn Maze had to be taken to hospital in Edmonton.
A parent says on Facebook the boy has two fractures in his jaw that are pressing against his ear canal.
It was thought at first, he may need surgery, but he may be able to avoid that.
His brother has cuts on the inside of his upper and lower lip and some other bumps and bruises.
That same post says about 10 kids were involved.
In an email to our newsroom, Alberta Health Services says EMS was called out shortly after 5:30 Sunday evening to a spot near Highway 43X and Range Road 64. Six patients were taken to hospital in stable, non-life-threatening condition. One other person was in serious, but stable condition.
The Grande Prairie Corn Maze has posted an apology on its own Facebook page.
They also say that same jumping pad has been in place for seven years and there has never been an incident during that time.
