A trial for the accused in a fatal stabbing case from Sexsmith two years ago started in Grande Prairie court with jury selection today.
Ten days have been set aside for the case against Jordan Joseph Wendland.
Wendland was originally charged with second-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Donald Moberly. Moberly passed away after being stabbed outside a bar in Sexsmith on October 25th, 2015.
Three other men were also stabbed during the incident.
During a preliminary hearing in September 2016, it was determined that he would be tried on one count of manslaughter and three of aggravated assault.
