A city committee is sending a pair of borrowing by-laws to Council.
One is for $5-million for the renovations at the Bear Creek Pool.
The other is for $3,572,911 for the new CKC grandstand.
That last amount is higher than the $1,995,000 originally approved as the grandstand addition did not qualify for some grant money.
City officials say both projects are on-time and on budget.
The new borrowing would leave the city’s total debt at $136,628,812 by the end of March next year, around half of its allowable debt limit.
