The Grande Prairie and District annual Music Festival starts April 17th and runs until May 4th.

From its early beginnings as a small 2-day festival in 1921 the festival has grown to become a 3-week event which ends with a Grand Concert in early May. The Festival draws about 600 participants from 21 communities in the area. The Venues offer us their space at no cost and the festival would not be possible without the community cooperation.

Venues: GPRC, 2nd Street Theatre, Trinity Lutheran Church and St.Paul's United Church.

Sessions run 9am-12pm, 1:30-4pm, and 6:30pm-9pm

Programs are now availiable for $5.00 each at Long & McQuade Music or at any of the Venues operatings through the festival. Addmission is $5.00 which buys a program.

Our grand concert is May 6th at 2pm in the GPRC Theatre.
