It's Daffodil Day in Grande Prairie
Apr 27, 2012

It's Daffodil Day in Grande Prairie, with hundreds of residents sporting the daffodil pin or the colour yellow to show their support for the fight against cancer.
Heidi Arbeau-Wood, Revenue Development Coordinator at the Canadian Cancer Society, says it's a small gesture that leaves a lasting impact.
"It shows them that we're here for them and that we support them," she says.
More than 16,000 people living in Alberta and the Northwest Territories will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
