County Council gets together this morning & 1 of their big decisions will be who takes over as Reeve from Everett McDonald who is heading to Edmonton to be the MLA for GP Smoky. Leanne Beaupre & Richard Harpe have been service as interim Reeve & Deputy for the last 5 weeks. Council can simply appoint them to the post permanently or hold an in house election for the posts. Councilors will also have to decide how to fill McDonald's seat at the table.
