Wildfires are starting to become a concern in the region.

SRD Information Officer Kelly Burke says they've had ten fires, all of which have been extinguished.

"Most of those were human caused due to not getting a permit. We've had some due to fallen trees on power lines," she says.

In the last 24 hours alone, there have been 15 news starts across Alberta.
