A Reminder From Enforcement Services: Protect Your Pets on Hot Days!
Jul 9, 2012

Enforcement Services wants to remind pet owners to keep those furry loved ones safe, especially on these hot days. Chris Manuel, with Enforcement Services says the inside of a car can reach 51 degrees in as little as 10 minutes, creating emergency situations for pets. Under the Animal Protection Act failing to meet safety requirements can result in a fine of up to $20,000 or being banned from having a pet.
Manuel says if you see a pet locked in a vehicle, please call Enforcement Services at 780.830.5790
