Elton John will be in Grande Prairie tomorrow night to perform his soldout show at the Crystal Centre.

GM Jane Cada-Sharp says everything, including the stage, is ready to go.

"We're just tweaking the dressing rooms and the 1,600 chairs on the floor are ready to be set up once we're given the go-ahead by the tour manager," she says.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. Cada-Sharp encourages everyone to get there early so you can get in, grab a drink or two and browse around if need be.

Mayor Bill Given has also proclaimed tomorrow at Sir Elton John Day to mark the historical occasion.
