City Asked to Approve $50K Traffic and Parking Assessment

May 1, 2012

At their next meeting on May 14th,  City Council will be asked to allocate $50,000 for a study that will help sort out all the traffic and parking issues along Knowledge Campus Roads.  Senior Transportation Analyst, Norman Kyle says they want to plan ahead for the increase in traffic and pedestrians that will soon be in that area with the construction of the new school.  The study will help suggest where the best areas for bus stops would be, where students should be crossing and how the roads will connect to the neighborhoods.  The $50,000 will come from the Future Expenditure Reserve.
