Tuesday at Public works, the Planning Department presented to committee what they thought the new entrances to Muskoseepi Park should look like.

The roadway upgrades got approved.  However, not everyone was fond of the cosmetics of the entrance ways.  City Planner, Joe Johnson says this will add some time to their project.  They had hoped for construction to start in 2012.  But, Johnson says he doesn't mind delaying the project to make sure everything is done right.

The improvements and upgrades include pedestrian bulb outs, painted pedestrian crosswalks, colored asphalt, new signage, benches, an information kiosk and landscaping.
