County Fire Crews had 10 separate grass/brush fires to deal with Wednesday. The largest was a 160 acre blaze on Range Rd 73 & Twp Rd 722. Overnite it was contained but some personal stayed on scene to deal with hot spots. Fire Marshal Mark Whelpton says if you own an ATV, be mindful of debris while out in the countryside. Effective immediately, NO new burning permits are being issued in the County until further notice.
