A pair have been charged with second degree murder following the death of a 33-year-old man from Desmarais.
Dorium Yellowknee was found deceased the morning of June 2, 2017 outside of a Desmarais home.
On Saturday, 19-year-old Cindy Savannah Nanemahoo was arrested and charged with second degree murder, and on Monday 32-year-old Collin Paul Noskiye was arrested and charged with both second degree murder and assault with a weapon.
They are both residents of Desmarais, and both have court appearances scheduled for today in Edmonton.
Investigators believe an altercation took place at a house party at a separate Desmarais residence from where Yellowknee was found.
Yellowknee’s family is requesting their privacy be respected at this time.
