During a search of four homes September 1, 1.3 kilograms of powder and crack cocaine, 1476 fentanyl pills, 573 grams of methamphetamine, 20 grams of marijuana, a vehicle and two thousand dollars cash were all seized.
ALERT says the drugs have a street value of a quarter of a million dollars.
The two men, 29-year-old Khristopher Ali and 59-year-old Robert Kinnon, are each facing three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Ali is also facing a charge of possession of proceeds of crime and two of possession of a controlled substance.
ALERT says this is its biggest seizure in Grande Prairie since October of 2014, when 1.8 kilograms of cocaine and over 1800 fentanyl pills were taken in.
