The wildfire rating in the Grande Prairie Forest Management Area has been reduced to low.
Wildfire information officers say rain over the past few days has led to the downgrade.
As a precaution, they are reminding off highway vehicle owners to properly clean their machines and remove all debris. Campers are also asked to make sure your campfire is completely out before you abandon it.
There are currently no active wildfires in the Grande Prairie Forest Area. There have been 46 wildfires so far this season that have burned a total of 9.90 hectares in the Grande Prairie Forest Area.
The County of Grande Prairie has also lifted their fire advisory.
