The city says if the weather holds, work on the Downtown Rehabilitation Project should be completed by early November.
Work still to be completed includes putting in street lights, paving stones, planters and street furniture.
This would mark the completion of Phases 1 and 2. Phases 3 and 4 along 100 Avenue would be done in future years.
Pedestrian access is expected to increase over the next few weeks, with full access restored at 101 Street and 101 Avenue back in place by the end of this month. A full schedule can be found here.
All businesses remain open.
