Beaverlodge fire crews were called out to a house fire that was considered “high intensity” on Sunday morning. According to a post by the Beaverlodge Fire Rescue Team, the firefighters were called at 5:30 a.m. and joined by crews from Hythe, Wembley, La Glace and the County of Grande Prairie.
The fire was brought under control. Chief Steve Rawlik says there were two people home at the time, but they were able to get out safely.
The Beaverlodge Fire Rescue Team also thanks the public for steering clear of the streets and area while the fire was going on.
