Over 400 people are expected to attend Libri-con today at the Montrose Cultural Centre.
Head Coordinator Charlotte Anderson says it is an all ages entirely free event that started in 2014.
“It celebrates books, gaming, you name it. It is like a small Comi-con locally done by the library. So we call it Libri-con for that reason”
Anderson adds it celebrates anime, comics, movies and books.
“This year, I would say the most popular ones are DC Comics, because of the Wonder Woman movie that just came out. For Anime, we have a panelist that is doing something for Yuri on ice, which is one of the popular Anime at the moment”
Libri-con goes from 10-4 today.
